Feautured on Elite Eight !!!

I was very happy to find out that I am currently being featured on S & O's Productions Blog as one of the Elite Eight Treasuries that are Front Page Etsy worthy. Blushing Mermaid created a beautiful "Seafoam and Mermaid's Tears" Treasury that included my seafoam colored sea-glass earrings.

I was very happy to also be included in this beautiful treasury as well. I had hoped that it would make the front page !!! These earrings are also one of the favorites that I have made as well, and will be working with more seaglass for more earring and necklace designs. I love the beach and anything associated with it and had just made a recent trip to South Haven, Michigan where I purchased more seaglass in unusual colors.

Hill Tribe Choker Necklace on Etsy Front Page

I was so very excited to find out that a treasury that I was included in made the font page of Etsy on May 27th, 20099. It has been about a year since my first and only other front page apperance on Etsy.

I was also excited that this particular necklace was picked by stylinstuff for her treasury. This was not the original design that I had in mind for the materials in this necklace, but I think something was inspiring me and guideing me in the direction to create this necklace.

This necklace I think is very unique and bohemian in style, a style that although I dont usually wear, I think my Native American heritage is attracted to.

Men's Jewelry Survey & Gift Certificate Award

I am announcing a new men's jewelry survey where I would like to get the men opinion on the types of jewelry that they would buy and wear. The majority of my customers are those that purchase jewelry for men and I would like to know what they are most interested in the materials that I use to make my men's jewelry. I typically use the following combinations: one or two gemstone mixed with natural materials such as horn, shell and wood, two or three gemstones by themselves, wood with copper or other metals, silver with gemstones, or sterling or hill tribe silver with leather.

I enjoy coming up with unique designs that you will not find anywhere else but am also interested in what the male consumer would buy. This is where i am going to focus my jewelry designs. I also find that unique materials used in simple design also seems to appeal to some male customers, but I have also sold pieces that used several various gemstones, wood and copper that were used in a unique design that have sold as well. I am very excited about that as it does show that some are interested in my more unique designs !

This is why I would like your feedback and have created a survey in the right hand side of my blog. I am also offering a $5 gift certificate in a drawing for anyone that votes and sends me an email confirmation of their vote.
