My Realxing Ohm ..Yoga ..Namaste. Treasury

I was able to get another Treasury today that I am very excited about. One of my favorite ways to relax and unwind and one that I need to remind myself to do more often !... is the practice of Yoga and meditation. I based the theme of this treasury on that idea and to include items that will help one do just that ! The budha pendant I also included as a reminder to take time for yourself ! As I look forward to a very busy week this was the perfect treasury for me and I love the color combination of the pinks and brown together, kind of warm and soothing at the same time. Enjoy and Relax !

I am very happy to be included in the INCROWD Treasury this week by a fellow Indiana Etsy Team Member, SpiceofLife. My Carnelian Necklace has been featured in this treasury. I make womens jewelry but have also been making a lot more men's jewelry as this has been the large portion of my customers at work and the men also enjoy unique handcrafted jewelry too ! I will be making more different styles of men's jewelry as well.
While I was on vacation a couple of weeks ago I bought many new beads and have several new ideas for jewelry for both men and women and am just trying to find the time to sit down and work on these creations! I will also be fo cusing on making womens earrings as I have not added these to my Etsy store yet. But I will be working on earrings this weekend as I am happy to say I do not have to work at my full time job like I thought I was going to have to do. Yeah !!!

Created and Included in Treasuries This Week

Hello Everyone ! Happy first day of summer! It has been a busy two weeks since I have been on vacation and been back at work. My parents have been affected by the flooding with a break in the dam where they live which is also the road out of the lake for them. My work has also moved to a new building at the busiest time of the year for us. I have managed to create a treasury including some of my fellow JET Team members. Which I have included here, titled Cool Summery Greens and Blues that included Yart and Sale items. I will be running my Yart Sale through the 22nd to allow for weekend shoppers. Many items will still remain on sale for a while longer but not at the same prices, so now would be the best time to purchase!

I also have a treasury of my own that I created this week. I got the inspiration for this treasury from a dream that I had about a year or two ago that has left me wondering hhhmmm...? premonition ? or just a dream ? Anyone who knows me know that I love all things Italian, food, wine, coffee, culture, gardens, the landscape and many more. Any way it is also a sort of virtual vacation for me this week !

I am on Vacation !!!!

Today is the first day of my vacation and I am excited to be able to spend more time working on my jewelry and will also be trying to post here more this coming week. I will be adding new earrings and new mens jewelry to my etsy shop over the next week. I am going to be concentrating on expanding the variety of items in my shop and will be adding in both the men and womens jewelry. I have a Father's Day showcase booked for June 7th which I will be preparing for.

I still have my poll running at the bottom of the page on the types of materials and jewelry that you prefer. Please vote and let me know what types of jewelry you would like to see in my shop. Please also feel free to contact me with suggestions, comments and custom made orders.

New Treasury of Copper and Coral

Hello !!

Happy Memorial Day weekend !!! I am enjoying the sunshine and warm weather and decided to create a new treasury of warm summer sun colors of copper and coral. These are also my favorite colors to use in summer jewelry and have many personal peices that I have made for myself of these colors and given as a gift for Mother's Day.

Water, Sand & Fun in the Sun Treasury

I was able to be the curator for another Etsy Treasury this weekend and the theme is in anticipation of my "vacation" from work. I will not be able to go to the beach so I at least wanted to go virtually.

On my vacation I will be taking time to take care of myself, but I will also be taking the time to focus more on the designing, instead of promoting of my jewelry ! I will be making several new items for the guys for Father's Day but I will also be making more summer inspired jewelry for the women as well. I am really looking forward to this time off...I really need it. I would love to take a day trip at least to Lake Michigan if the gas prices allow or I get my stimulus check in time !

I also want to thank Timothy Adams Designs for burying me in his Etsy Shop Blog listed in the link here on the side of the page. You will find me in the 3rd Jewelry section and in the section FOR THE GUYS. Timothy does beautiful metal work and has a beautiful vintage camera necklace that is a favorite of mine !

Stay posted... I will also be working on posting more, especially during the time that I will be on vacation letting you know of when I will be listing new items to my shop.

I have not had the opportunity to spend as much time on my jewelry lately and am working my way back to spending more time with it. I have taken the time to make a necklace as a gift for my nephew and his first communion gift and to re-size a watch for an Etsy sale that I made a couple of days ago. I have started a a couple of projects but keep finding myself being pulled away. Other outside factors have also been contributing to my creative flow...noise from a neighbors dog, and stress from a full time job. But I am very enthusiastic to get those creative juices flowing again. I have so many ideas and projects that I would like to get finished for the summer, so stay tuned. I love Italy and all things Italian so I just could not wait to get a treasury listing where I could list a few of my favorite items. There are a few other things that I was not able to post due to space limitations such as some of my favorite photographs of Italy, but I have "hearted" those items in my shop. As well as my favorite scent Promegrante soap, candles and wood fruit.

I have been working hard in my "free time" away from my full time job to promote my jewelry and it has consumed most of that time and I have not spent as much time as I would like in actually designing and creating jewelry, but I hope to get several pieces completed this weekend and listed on my Etsy store. I will also offer a "tax time" discount of 10% to anyone who mentions this discount if they purchase from my store. I found this to be fitting since I have to pay taxes this year since my employer did not take out enough !!!

Spring Jewelry

Hello, Thank you for visiting my blog. I am making an effort to post more often and let you know more of my jewelry inspirations, when I will be adding more jewelry to my etsy store, and just get more feedback from you. Please participate in the poll on my page, I am wanting to know what types of jewelry designs you are interested in buying.

Most of the growth of my business comes from friends and co-workers who want me to make a specific piece of jewelry for them or as a gift for someone else. I enjoy the creative challenge in designing a piece of jewelry that meets or exceeds the expectations that they have.

Most of my inspirations come from colors, designs, and nature around me and the seasons in nature. I also often make a piece of jewelry that will complement and display the pattern and style of an outfit.

I am also expanding my jewelry for sale to include more men's jewelry and earrings and bracelets. I will be adding to my etsy store this weekend. I am taking some time off this week from my full time job to get some jewelry made.

Some of my favorite colors for spring are combinations of blues and greens and also combinations of peach, orange and coral. But I also like yellows, and greens with brown for spring. And I especially like incorporating pearls, shells, wood for spring jewelry. I am very much interested in knowing what you would like to see in terms of colors and materials for your spring jewelry. What Types of Material Would You Like to See in the Jewelry That You Purchase?

I have added a more comprehensive poll with more selections to find out what materials both men and women like when they look for jewelry to purchase. Many of us have different types for different outfits and moods, but some types are always favorite pieces of jewelry that we like to wear. I am interested in finding out what types you are interested in purchasing but just are not finding in the general market? I enjoy mixing a variety of materials as well as making items unique, but I also like the simplicity sometmes of just a combination of leather with sterling silver.

Etsy Gift Guide Showcase on January 30

My jewelry will be showcased on the Esty Gift Guide Showcase on January 30th. Be sure to check it out for your Valentine's day shopping for that special someone. I will be working on new jewelry over the coming weekend and will have several new items up for sell. I may also put some items "on sale" by temporarily reducing the prices for Valentines Day.

As you know I make jewelry for both men and women, so you can buy for each other or for yourself. Treat your self for Valentines Day especially if someone is not pampering you !!!

Welcome to my Lucid Jewelry Designs Blog

I have decided to start this page so that I have a place to not only promote the jewelry that I make and the Etsy site that I am selling it on, but to also get to know what men and women are looking for in the way of unique custom designed jewelry.

I began making jewelry because I found that what I was looking for was not available to me at local stores where I usually shop, or that what I was able to find in local boutiques was too expensive. I had a need for lightweight earrings that would not stretch the holes in my ears any more than they already have been. I like wearing earrings but many were either too heavy or just not was what I liked. I also have a metal sensitivity to nickel.

I quickly moved from making earrings to necklaces, bracelets, watches, and ankle bracelets. I then began making jewelry for men as I started getting many compliments and inquires from pieces that I have made for family members and male co-workers.

So now I am interested in getting some feedback, suggestions and ideas from men and women in what they would like to see or own in the way of hand made beaded and wire jewelry.
