Created and Included in Treasuries This Week

Hello Everyone ! Happy first day of summer! It has been a busy two weeks since I have been on vacation and been back at work. My parents have been affected by the flooding with a break in the dam where they live which is also the road out of the lake for them. My work has also moved to a new building at the busiest time of the year for us. I have managed to create a treasury including some of my fellow JET Team members. Which I have included here, titled Cool Summery Greens and Blues that included Yart and Sale items. I will be running my Yart Sale through the 22nd to allow for weekend shoppers. Many items will still remain on sale for a while longer but not at the same prices, so now would be the best time to purchase!

I am on Vacation !!!!

Today is the first day of my vacation and I am excited to be able to spend more time working on my jewelry and will also be trying to post here more this coming week. I will be adding new earrings and new mens jewelry to my etsy shop over the next week. I am going to be concentrating on expanding the variety of items in my shop and will be adding in both the men and womens jewelry. I have a Father's Day showcase booked for June 7th which I will be preparing for.

I still have my poll running at the bottom of the page on the types of materials and jewelry that you prefer. Please vote and let me know what types of jewelry you would like to see in my shop. Please also feel free to contact me with suggestions, comments and custom made orders.

I have also been added to the Etsy Shop Directory for which you can find a link on the side of my page here. I also had the pleasure of being featured in a couple of Treasuries this past week ! Thanks LemonVerbena for including me !

What Types of Material Would You Like to See in the Jewelry That You Purchase?

I have added a more comprehensive poll with more selections to find out what materials both men and women like when they look for jewelry to purchase. Many of us have different types for different outfits and moods, but some types are always favorite pieces of jewelry that we like to wear. I am interested in finding out what types you are interested in purchasing but just are not finding in the general market? I enjoy mixing a variety of materials as well as making items unique, but I also like the simplicity sometmes of just a combination of leather with sterling silver.

Welcome to my Lucid Jewelry Designs Blog

I have decided to start this page so that I have a place to not only promote the jewelry that I make and the Etsy site that I am selling it on, but to also get to know what men and women are looking for in the way of unique custom designed jewelry.

I began making jewelry because I found that what I was looking for was not available to me at local stores where I usually shop, or that what I was able to find in local boutiques was too expensive. I had a need for lightweight earrings that would not stretch the holes in my ears any more than they already have been. I like wearing earrings but many were either too heavy or just not was what I liked. I also have a metal sensitivity to nickel.

I quickly moved from making earrings to necklaces, bracelets, watches, and ankle bracelets. I then began making jewelry for men as I started getting many compliments and inquires from pieces that I have made for family members and male co-workers.

So now I am interested in getting some feedback, suggestions and ideas from men and women in what they would like to see or own in the way of hand made beaded and wire jewelry.
